Well, they are supposed to be an honorable righteous sect after all. If they were to give up Lin Feng just for profit they would lose all face. Think of Benedict Arnold. After he turned traitor, he could never go back to the Americans and the Brittish just held him in contempt. If they give up Lin Feng, they might just as well go all the way and become a demonic sect.

Of course if they were an ordinary or neutral sect it would be different. Or if Lin Feng's own honor and reputation and good deeds were not a great as they are then they might consider making a deal.
